New2Market Inc., Brokerage
Privacy Policy
New2Market Inc., Brokerage (“New2Market”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the other laws that apply to Ontario real estate brokerages.
Who is responsible
Rick Galati, Owner / Broker of Record, is our Privacy Officer and is responsible for how we handle personal information. You can reach him at 416.300.0507 or rick@new2market.ca.
What we collect
When you contact us through our website, by email, by phone or on social media, we collect your name, your contact details and what you tell us in your message. We keep this information in our customer relationship management (CRM) system so we can follow up with you.
When you become a client or are involved in a transaction, we collect the information we need to provide real estate services, such as property details and the terms of your agreements, and, where the law requires it, your identification and information about deposit funds.
Identity verification. Canada’s anti-money-laundering law requires us to verify the identity of our clients. We may use Fintracker, a third-party verification service, which can capture an image of your government-issued photo ID and a photo of you to confirm the ID belongs to you. We keep these records for at least five years, as the law requires. We never enter them into AI tools.
When you visit our website, technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view may be logged automatically by our hosting provider and the tools that run the site.
How we use it
We use personal information to respond to your questions and requests; to provide real estate services, including listing, marketing, buying and selling property and preparing and completing agreements; to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including under the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 and the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act; and to keep our website working and secure.
We do not sell personal information.
Your consent
We collect, use and share personal information with your consent, except where the law allows or requires otherwise. When you send us a message, you agree that we may use your information to reply to you. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits. If withdrawing consent means we can no longer act for you, we will tell you.
Emails from us
We send commercial emails only with your consent or where the law otherwise allows. Every commercial email identifies New2Market Inc., Brokerage and lets you unsubscribe. We honour unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed for the purposes above. This may include others involved in your transaction, such as co-operating brokerages, lawyers, lenders, mortgage brokers, appraisers and home inspectors; MLS® systems, when we list a property or as you authorize in your agreements; regulators and authorities, such as RECO and FINTRAC, where the law requires it; and service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, website analytics, our CRM system, email and document storage, who may use it only to provide services to us.
Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, the information is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its authorities.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools, such as Anthropic’s Claude, to help organize our records and prepare documents. AI tools are not used to give advice or make decisions, and Rick Galati reviews all AI-assisted work. We never enter social insurance numbers, government ID numbers, dates of birth or bank account details into AI tools.

Our website is hosted by Hostinger. Like most websites, it uses cookies, which are small files stored by your browser. Some are needed for the site to work properly.

How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or longer where the law requires it, including the record-keeping rules that apply to brokerages under the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 and FINTRAC requirements. After that, we securely destroy or delete it.
How we protect it
We use reasonable physical, organizational and technical safeguards suited to the sensitivity of the information. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.
Seeing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Contact our Privacy Officer. We will respond within 30 days. In some cases the law allows or requires us to refuse access; if so, we will tell you why.

Please contact our Privacy Officer first, and we will do our best to resolve your concern. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at www.priv.gc.ca or 1-800-282-1376.
